Overview
It is a great pleasure to invite you to our 10th International Scientific Congress, which is being held in partnership with the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia (OGSM) on 5 – 8 June, 2012 in Sarawak, Malaysia. The event will take place in the Borneo Convention Centre, Kuching, a rainforest themed architecture and purpose built convention facility located right on the edge of the rainforest which will provide a fascinating and novel venue. It is just 5 km from Kuching city centre and close to Kuching International Airport. The city offers a wide range of excellent hotel accommodation.
The city is an eco-tourism destination and Sarawak is the largest state in Malaysia and boasts the world's most extensive cave system and the world's oldest rainforest. The state is home to 2.31 million people comprising over 28 different ethnic groups and enjoys a harmonious blend of colourful cultures, languages, religions and lifestyles.
The content of the Scientific Programme is well underway and will recognise the need to educate, update and excite. New developments will be to the fore. We are also planning an entertaining social programme which will stimulate and entertain but will also facilitate networking with colleagues as well as catching up with friends from around the globe.
We invite you to visit the developing website www.rcog2012.com regularly for the latest updates and news about the Scientific Congress.
I hope to see you in Sarawak in June 2012.
