Overview
Egypt is currently undergoing significant changes which offer a wonderful opportunity to make a difference to the country’s future. The RCOG-Egypt Day is the ideal forum to address the challenges and aspirations of Egyptian Women and their Doctors for a better health care system fit for the 21st Century.
This meeting will comprise of themes exploring the most important pillars in Egyptian Women’s Healthcare:
- Maternal and perinatal mortality
- Gynaecological cancers
- Reproductive medicine
- Under and post-Graduate education and training (including appraisal and certification)
- Health services structure and delivery
- Healthcare education and research agenda for Egyptian women
Addressing the current situation in Egypt, the ideal situation and how we get there, this meeting is a great opportunity to explore Egyptian heritage and cultural values.
A joint consensus statement of the Conference recommendations will be issued and endorsed by all represented authorities.
The day is expected to be well attended at all levels and is expected to have the highest representation from all sides.
