Overview
The meeting provides a forum for learning from patient safety incidents and sharing good practice in promotion of patient safety. This is the only annual national conference on risk management in obstetrics and gynaecology. The emphasis throughout the meeting is on practical as well as theoretical concepts, and delegates have the opportunity to network with colleagues involved in safety and quality improvement.
The programme is based on the RADICAL framework for risk management (Raise Awareness, Design for safety, Involve users, Collect and Analyse safety data, and Learn from patient safety incidents).

Call for Abstracts
Have you undertaken a quality improvement project in your department or hospital? If so, how about sharing your experience with others?
Two slots for quality improvement presentations have been reserved on the programme for the annual RCOG/ENTER conference on Risk Management and Medico-Legal Issues in Women’s Health being held on 26 to 27 April 2012. If you wish to be considered for this opportunity, download and complete the entry form below and return to Kim Helm at the RCOG Conference Office no later than 18 December 2011.
The successful entries will be announced in January 2012. Travel costs for one speaker per selected project will be covered but unfortunately no hotel accommodation can be provided.
