Dear O&G Trainees,
The Wessex Trainees are delighted to welcome you to Bournemouth for SpROGs 2010. Set at the magnificent Royal Bath Hotel, with its panoramic views across the English Channel, we aim to introduce a bustling and stimulating array of lectures, debates and workshops from regional, national and international experts in their fields. Some of the core logbook topics will be presented along with many exciting new areas not covered in previous years.
We welcome abstracts for poster and oral presentation at the conference and prizes will be awarded for the best presentations in each category. We hope you will take every opportunity to enjoy a drinks reception at The Oceanarium and the Gala Dinner at the stylish and award winning Print Room. Perhaps lengthen your stay by visiting the New Forest or exploring Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast.
We look forward to seeing you in our beautiful region.

Astellas is passionate in its commitment to improving the lives of women with Overactive bladder (OAB). The condition affects 1 in 5 women and, the prevalence increases with age. OAB has a huge impact on patients lives, driven by the distressing symptom of urgency and for some patients, incontinence.
Often patients may take years to consult their GP due to embarrassment and thinking nothing can be done to treat their condition. Even when patients do consult many of those who are prescribed an antimuscarinic agent do not remain on treatment for long. This may be driven by a combination of factors including lack of efficacy and intolerable side effects. Please visit the Astellas stand to find out more about a treatment that may help your patients restore their quality of life.
We are committed to working with you and as such we have a wide range of materials for you, including bladder diaries (as recommended in the NICE guidelines (Female urinary incontinence)) and also a patient support programme for patients on our medication.
