As a membership organisation for professionals at the front line of maternity care, we can be effective advocates in calling for more action to prevent maternal deaths (Click here to find out more about our Maternal Mortality Campaign). Raising awareness of the problem is key if we are to be able to get governments to commit more resources to tackling maternal mortality.
RCOG has established an Advocacy Sub-Group with representatives from the White Ribbon Alliance, FIGO, RCM, the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health and other professional bodies and NGOs to raise awareness of global maternal mortality.
