The 2009 round of the MOD Clinical Excellence Awards Scheme is now under way. Royal Colleges and Faculties have been invited to nominate Surgeon General Departments (SGD) consultants who they feel meet the criteria for an award.
If you would like to be nominated for an award, please send your completed application form to Drusilla Wieloch at the College (dwieloch@rcog.org.uk) for assessment. The MOD’s deadline is the 24th July so we would be grateful if you could get your form to us by Monday the 20th July.
If appropriate we will prepare a nomination/citation and return this to you. You will then be responsible for submitting your application with all nominations/citations to your appropriate MDG by Friday 24 July 2009.
The Guide and all the necessary forms for submitting nominations and providing supporting citations can be obtained electronically on the SGD page on the MOD website.
Your particular attention is drawn to Part 3 of the Guide which explains the eligibility criteria, and part 12 which give details on the process for third party nominations.
