Academic O&G. The pursuit of advancement and excellence through research and teaching
The RCOG is strongly committed to academic obstetrics and gynaecology in terms of research, teaching and training. This area of the website is intended to inform Obstetricians and Gynaecologists about a portfolio of academic issues including training, academic training pathways and curricula, our mentorship scheme, research interests across the UK and miscellaneous issues of academic relevance.
This is a challenging time for academic medicine in general, and obstetrics and Gynaecology in particular, and we have been working hard to try to improve training opportunities and encourage closer working and collaboration between obstetric and gynaecology academics.
We hope you enjoy the website and obtain benefit from it. Comments are welcome to Bettina Muller at the RCOG (email: bmuller@rcog.org.uk).
