American Gynecological Club / Gynaecological Visiting Society Fellowship

Travel award

Closing date:

Friday, May 25, 2012 - 08:00

The initial funding was provided in 1990 by the American Gynecological Club and the Gynaecological Visiting Society of Great Britain and Ireland. The sum awarded will be up to a maximum of £500, to meet travel costs and incidental expenses and may be awarded even though other financial assistance has been obtained.

The purpose of the fellowship is to enable the recipient to visit, make contact with and gain knowledge from a specific centre offering new techniques or methods of clinical management within the specialty of obstetrics and gynaecology. This visit may be from the British Isles to the USA or vice versa.

It is open to specialist registrars in the British Isles and, in the USA, to junior fellows or those in residency programmes in obstetrics and gynaecology.
