This annual travelling fellowship was generously endowed by the late Dr Thomas Watts Eden. It is open to medical graduates of not less than two years’ standing of any approved university (whether members of the College or not). Its purpose is to enable the holder to visit, for a specified period of time, another department(s) of obstetrics and gynaecology or of closely related disciplines where the applicant may gain additional knowledge and experience in the pursuit of a specific research project in which he or she is currently engaged. The sum awarded will be up to a maximum of £5,000 according to the project to be undertaken and the travelling expenses involved.
