As a result of a kind and generous bequest, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists is able to offer two prizes, known as the Herbert Erik Reiss Memorial Prizes, for a Case History project in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The awards are open to medical students and junior doctors working in Foundation Years 1/2 in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Two prizes will be awarded to candidates who, in the opinion of the assessors, undertake the best presentation of a clinical case, including critical assessment and literature research, in a topic of obstetrics and gynaecology.
A maximum of 1,500 words with maximum of 10 references should be submitted
Please include a statement of your contribution to the project and indicate the name and address of your supervisor.
Only one submission per candidate is permitted.
Submissions, which must include your address for correspondence, may be emailed to jhayman@rcog.org.uk or four copies of the typewritten submission on A4 paper should be sent to the Awards Administrator at the following address:
