The RCOG offers support to doctors at all stages of their careers. These pages of the website contain information about the RCOG's mentoring scheme and resources and advice for Doctors in difficulty.
RCOG Mentoring Scheme
RCOG mentees are obstetricians and gynaecologists outwith the training grade who have voluntarily contacted the College to seek a mentor.
RCOG mentors are Fellows/Members of the College who have attended skills development workshops. The RCOG can provide mentors from a range of backgrounds and localities.
The document Mentoring For All (pdf) provides more details and guidance about this scheme.
Guidelines cover: the mentor's role, the process, method of working and funding, ethical issues, alternative support services and feedback forms.
If you have any queries about the scheme, please contact Sandra Whitear at: swhitear@rcog.org.uk
