Trainee election (Academic)

The RCOG has a vacancy for a Senior Academic Trainees’ Representative on the Academic Committee, which meets three times a year at the College.  Please click here to read the responsibilities for this post.

It is important to note that you will only be eligible to stand, or nominate for a candidate to stand, if you have a current hospital post on our database and fulfil the criteria outlined as follows:

Standing Candidate - Senior Academic Trainees' Representative:

  • Trainee who has an Academic Clinical Lecturer Post or equivalent
  • Preferably in years 1 or 2 of their ACL AND
  • Has minimum of two years remaining in respect of their projected CCT date.

Nominator:

  • Trainee who has subscribed to the Trainees' Register OR
  • Is post-MRCOG but not yet appointed to a consultant post
  • Is working in the UK.
