- interactive assessment with instant feedback
- the facility to save assessment scores
- links to guidelines and reading material
- streamed videos of procedures and scans
- animations to simplify complex principles
- the facility to attach reflective notes to web pages
Learning history
How do I track my progress through the core training eTutorials?
In each eTutorial, pages either count towards your progress (e.g. reading pages, assessments) or don't count towards your progress (e.g. introduction page, e-tutor profile). You can record your progress through an eTutorial by clicking on the button 'I have completed this page' that appears at the bottom of every reading page that counts towards your progress.
For assessments, you only need to complete these and submit your answers for that page to count towards your progress.
You can track your progress using My learning history. This page lists all of the available eTutorials, your progress and links to your learning history and reflective notes.
In addition, on every page within the eTutorial on the top right-hand side under the eTutorial name, are links to your learning history. This page displays the pages complete, pages yet to complete and your assessment scores. You can print a copy of your learning record or save as a PDF and upload to your ePortfolio.
Note, your percentage of complete pages will change with any new addition/subtraction of pages made to each eTutorial when they are reviewed; that is, once an eTutorial has been completed at 100%, this percentage may be recalculated with revision of the eTutorial.
Learning records are recommended to be printed at the time of completion.
Once you have completed an eTutorial you can print your learning record. Your learning record shows your progress, e.g. 100% (of the eTutorial has been completed) and your assessment scores. On your learning history page for each eTutorial, you can print a copy of your learning record or save as a PDF and upload to your ePortfolio.
If you are presenting the certificate for a course, you will have to check with your learning provider whether this is applicable for your course.
