The RCOG website contains a huge amount of information both for trainees already working within obstetrics and gynaecology and for those who are interested in O&G as a career. Information about examinations, careers and the education and training programme can be found in the links on this page. The RCOG has a Trainees' Committee , with members elected from trainees in all regions in the UK and ROI, and which represents trainees' views on College committees and in other groups such as the Academy Trainees Group.
European Working Time Regulation
A major survey of trainees to investigate the impact of the European Working Time Regulation (EWTR) on training and related issues has been launched. All UK trainees and those working in junior and middle grade posts are encouraged to participate. The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete and the deadline for submissions is 16 February 2010. Please click here to complete the survey.
The results of the survey will be available on the RCOG website from March and highlights will feature in TROG and the RCOG News.
A guide to the Implications of the EWTR for Doctors in training can be found here.
