The RCOG encourages the study and advancement of the science and practice of obstetrics and gynaecology. We do this through postgraduate medical education and training development, and the publication of clinical guidelines and reports on aspects of the specialty and service provision. Our Global Health Unit works with other international organisations to help lower maternal morbidity and mortality in under-resourced countries.
The membership section contains useful information for current members and also for anyone interested in joining the College, including membership categories and the benefits of membership.
The setting standards section provides links to the College's various activities designed to improve standards in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Campaigning and opinions
The campaigning and opinions section pulls together all RCOG statements on various issues affecting the specialty of obstetrics and gynaecology and the wider health service, and also provides links to RCOG briefings on key topics.
The information services section provides information about the College's library collections, archives, museum and other information resources. Related information is available in the research services section.
The facilities section provides information about College dinners, overnight accommodation at the RCOG and how to hire our facilities for your meetings, conferences and events.
Tackling climate change
The tackling climate change section explains how the College measures and improves its own performance against 'green' indicators and also supports environmental policies that reduce waste and increase energy efficiency in the NHS.
