Eligibility
- Medical practitioners worldwide who are working in the field of women's healthcare but who do not hold the MRCOG and wish to be linked with, and support, the activities of the RCOG.
- Applicants must have a primary medical degree or DRCOG.
- Applicants who wish to become an Associate must submit an application form which includes an undertaking to uphold and promote the aims of the College to the best of their ability and while in practice to undertake continuing professional development.
- This category only applies to those applicants who are not eligible for any other category of College membership. No individual who has been removed from the Register of Fellows and Members or deprived of membership privileges, for whatever reason, shall be eligible to apply.

How to Apply
Those holding DRCOG are only required to complete:
- Associate application form: UK or Ireland or Overseas (pdf)
- Declaration form (pdf)
All other applicants must provide:
- Associate application form (UK or Ireland or Overseas) – this includes the names of two referees who may be Fellows or Members of the RCOG, the Medical Director, Supervisor of Training or Head of Department.
- Declaration form (pdf)
- Proof of identity and qualifications, including certified copy of primary medical degree
- A brief CV
- Letter of good standing from current employer
- Confirmation that you are not currently suspended, or removed, from medical practice by any investigation related to medical practice in any country.
- £135 or £45 annual fee
The College reserves the right to refuse an application for reasons that the Council of the College is in its absolute discretion think fit.
