The College can offer reduction in annual subscriptions under special circumstances. Requests for concessions must be made in writing by e-mail to the Member Records Manager, Andrea Gale, at the following address: agale@rcog.org.uk
This communication must provide the reasons for the request. The following may apply:
- British Isles* members who are working wholly outside the field of obstetrics and/or gynaecology. Members in this category pay an annual subscription of £134 (or £109 by direct debit) .
- International members who are working wholly outside the field of obstetrics and/or gynaecology. Members in this category pay an annual subscription of £45.
- Members who are taking career breaks for 12 months or more as maternity and/or study leave, or who are unemployed or unable to work for periods of longer than 12 months may also apply for a reduced annual subscription of £ 134 (or £109 by direct debit) and £45 international rate. You will be required to confirm your circumstances on an annual basis.
- Members working within Genito-urinary Medicine are deemed to be working within O&G and therefore no concession is permitted. However, members working within this area who are participating in a CPD programme at another Royal College may apply for a £100 reduction upon receipt of their annual CPD certificate prior to 31 March.
Please note that you will now only receive the RCOG Membership Matters and must subscribe separately to The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. A subscription form is available.
Documentary evidence of the concessionary circumstances may be required.
Those living in the UK and not paying a full subscription who wish to participate in the RCOG CPD programme may do so at additional cost.
If any of these special categories apply to you, please contact Andrea Gale Tel: +44 (0) 20 7772 6296
*British Isles includes those resident in the Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Gibraltar and HM British Armed Forces
