Marketing

Marketing activity takes place from the Publications Department and the RCOG Bookshop, with campaigns targeted to local markets but coordinated to ensure consistency of approach.

Bookshop Updates, catalogues and leaflets are produced and mailed every year; advertisements are placed in selected journals, where appropriate; thousands of review copies and press releases are sent to journalists and relevant exhibitions attended.

Marketing via the Internet is a key component of the RCOG Press's communications. Customers can buy books online via the Bookshop and an e-Bulletin notifies customers of new titles being published in their subject areas, which anyone can sign up to receive.

Distribution

The Press strives to maintain a professional distribution service to all parts of the world, via the RCOG Bookshop. Most orders are mailed out same day.
