The RCOG Consent Group has been reformed with a remit to issue and reissue specific consent advice to clinicians for common O&G procedures. We are particularly interested in consent issues which result in litigation or which pose difficult challenges for doctors in training.
Each Consent Advice will have a printable page 2 of the Department of Health consent form. This page can be incorporated into your local trust documents subject to local trust governance approval. We believe that this will introduce a degree of standardisation for consent advice.
