Nominations processes for vacancies on the RCOG Trainees' Committee

We are currently looking for one representative for the following role:

  • Subspecialty Trainees’ representative

The representatives will be selected via an election process following a 2-week nomination period.

If you are interested in applying, please read the constitution of the Trainees’ Committee and the Subspecialty Committee (both linked below) and submit your nomination form by Wednesday 18 May 2022.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for trainees who wish to stand for the Subspecialty Trainees’ representative election, or to nominate candidates, are as follows:

Standing candidates must be:

  • A current subspecialty trainee who has started their subspecialty training post, and is registered with the RCOG for their subspecialty training.
  • Has a minimum of one or more years full time equivalent of training remaining in respect of their projected certificate of completion of training (CCT) date / projected date for subspecialty training at the time of nominations
  • Is working in the UK

Nominators must be:

  • A current subspecialty trainee not yet appointed to a consultant position
  • Is working in the UK

Eligibility to vote

All current subspecialty trainees who have registered for their subspecialty training with the RCOG and work in the UK will be eligible to vote.

The election process is supported by the data in your ePortfolio. It is essential to ensure that your details are up to date on your account by the close of nominations on Wednesday 18 May 2022.

  1. Current post
  2. Email address
  3. Training region
  4. National Training Number (NTN)
  5. College Number
