NTC postponement FAQs

We are looking to reschedule to spring 2021 and we are working with the conference venue to confirm dates. We hope to be able to announce the new dates within the next few weeks.

If you want to transfer your place to the new dates then please email .

If you do not want your registration transferred to the new dates please email  for a refund of your paid registration fee. Refunds will be made within 4 weeks of receiving the request.

If you are unsure which the best option for you is, you can choose to transfer your registration now, but will still have the option of cancelling and receiving a refund on your delegate fee up until two weeks prior to the rescheduled dates.

As outlined in our booking conditions, we regret we are unable to refund any delegate travel and/or accommodation costs that have already been incurred, or any administration charges relating to cancellation of travel tickets or accommodation.

No, as the location had not yet been decided for NTC 2021, Bristol will now be the venue for NTC 2021.

Abstracts

All accepted abstract presenters, who are registered for NTC 2020, will be offered the opportunity to present in the same format as currently confirmed at the rescheduled conference. Please note that if you request a refund then you are cancelling your place and will lose your guaranteed presentation slot. You will be able to re-submit your abstract when submission re-opens later in 2020 and it will be judged and graded as before.

Unfortunately we can only guarantee slots for those that were confirmed presenters at the time NTC 2020 was postponed. You will be able to resubmit your abstract to be re-marked when submission re-opens in the coming months. Any vacant presentation slots will be filled from the highest scoring abstracts submitted in the second round.

We hope to re-open abstract submissions for the NTC and we will communicate information on this as soon as available.

If you want to amend your abstract, then you will need to withdraw it and resubmit it to be remarked when submission reopens in the coming months. More guidance on the best way to do this will be available when submission reopens. This does mean that you will lose your guaranteed presentation slot and your abstract will be re-considered and re-marked alongside any new submissions that come in. If you have small updates to your abstract then you can reflect these in the content of your poster or oral presentation.

The supplement will no longer be published in May 2020 and a revised version will be planned in line with the rescheduled NTC dates.

The supplement will no longer be published in May 2020 and a revised version will be planned in line with the rescheduled NTC dates. If your abstract was accepted for publication and you registered in time, then your abstract will be included in the new supplement as long as you are still registered for NTC. If you cancel your registration then your abstract is not guaranteed to be included in the new supplement. If you want to resubmit your abstract at a later date then your abstract will be re-considered and re-marked alongside any new submissions that come in.
