Guidelines Committee

Committee remit, membership and meeting dates

Member

The Guidelines Committee works to manage the development, updating and publication of Green-top Guidelines as determined by the Clinical Quality Assurance Group and CQ Board; to collaborate with other organisations and co-develop or endorse guidelines, as determined by the Board; to collaborate with other committees on other College activities (e.g. audits, Scientific Advisory Committee papers, scientific meetings, study groups) as determined by the Board.

This appointment is for a 3 year term starting in May 2020.

Joint Standing Committee for Patient Safety

The Committee supports the development of patient safety guidance and the RCOG Invite Review Service. Previous experience as a Joint Standing Committee / Women’s Health Patient Safety Expert Group member is essential.

The Scientific Advisory Committee works to manage the development, updating and publication of Scientific Impact Papers as determined by the Clinical Quality Assurance Group and Clinical Quality Board. This role, along with clinical members, and other specialty and committee representatives, supports the Committee to produce high quality, accurate, balanced and evidence-based information.
