Patient Information Committee

Committee remit, membership and meeting dates

Vice-Chair

The Patient Information Committee produces high quality and evidence-based patient information. The Vice-Chair will support the Chair of the committee and deputise when necessary.

This appointment is for a 3 year term starting in June 2022.

Committee Member (Clinical)

Members of the PIC support the committee objective and the requirements of the Information Standard—namely, to produce high quality, accurate, balanced and evidence-based patient information.

This appointment is for a 3 year term starting in June 2022.

Clinical Quality Assurance Group

Committee remit, membership and meeting dates

Member of the CQAG

The Clinical Quality Assurance Group oversees the development of high quality patient safety guidance and advises on NHS developments in the areas of service safety and quality.

This appointment is for a 3 year term starting in March 2022.

Guidelines Committee

Committee remit, membership and meeting dates

Committee Member – Gynaecology

Members of the Guidelines Committee assist with the development, updating and publication of guidelines as determined by the Clinical Quality Assurance Group and CQ Board.  

This appointment is for a 3 year term starting in June 2022.

Scientific Advisory Committee

Committee remit, membership and meeting dates

Chair

The Chair is responsible for debating relevant scientific issues, producing regular scientific impact papers and contributing to College responses on national policies.

This appointment is for a 3 year term starting in June 2022.

Vice-Chair

The Vice-Chair will provide support for the Chair by helping to review scientific impact papers and external consultation documents. They will also deputise for the Chair when required.

This appointment is for a 3 year term starting in June 2022.

Committee Member

The Scientific Advisory Committee has a broad brief encompassing both basic and clinical science, including health services research. The Committee reacts to requests for scientific advice and helps in the review of scientific impact papers.

This appointment is for a 3 year term starting in June 2022.

Patient Safety Committee

Committee remit, membership and meeting dates

Committee Member

The Patient Safety Committee oversees the development of high quality patient safety guidance and advises on NHS developments in the area of service safety and quality. The Committee also leads on specific College patient safety events.

This appointment is for a 3 year term starting in March 2022.
