Scientific Advisory Committee

Member / Fellow Representative (2 vacancies)

As a Member / Fellow representative on the Scientific Advisory Committee, you will produce regular Scientific Impact Papers for the membership, contribute to College responses on national policies and react to requests for scientific advice from officers, committees, working parties and the RCOG membership.

Please note: Applicants are requested from the Reproductive Medicine and Gynaecological Oncology specialties ONLY.

 

Guidelines Committee

Member / Fellow Representative (3 vacancies)

As a Member / Fellow representative on the Guidelines Committee, you will contribute to the development, review and updating of RCOG Green-top Guidelines, Consent Advice, Clinical Governance Advice, and non-Green-top clinical guidelines.

 

Patient Information Committee

Member / Fellow Representative (2 vacancies)

As a Member / Fellow representative on the Patient Information Committee, you will lead on the first draft of assigned information topics in collaboration with an agreed lay member of the Committee, assist the Chair in seeking advice and expertise in relation to patient information topics from women and from peers not represented on the Committee and act as the media/public enquiry liaison for patient information topics on which you have been allocated lead/co-author.

 

Women's Network

Clinical Representative (1 vacancy)

As a Member/Fellow representative on the Guidelines Committee, you will support the Women’s Network to achieve its annual work plan and the College’s wider patient and public involvement strategy through involvement in working groups and public engagement activities, support the College to develop its advocacy role and Leading on Women’s Health agenda and advise the Network on, clinical issues, developments in clinical practice and NHS policies and processes.
