Become a Clinical Lead for the NICE Clinical Guideline on Termination of Pregnancy

This is an exciting opportunity to act as Clinical Lead of the Guideline Committee and help shape how the NHS provides care in this important area.

About NICE guideline committees

National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guideline committees comprise leading healthcare experts as well as lay people (people with personal experience of a condition). The National Guideline Alliance (NGA) is commissioned by NICE to help the committee develop the guideline by providing a multi-disciplinary health services research team with expertise in systematic reviewing, information science and health economics.

Clinical Lead role

As a Clinical Lead you will have the opportunity to with work NGA staff to develop the scope of the guideline, advise on key issues in the area of termination of pregnancy, and assist the Guideline Committee in interpreting and discussing the evidence.

You will need to be a healthcare professional with demonstrable relevant experience and clinical knowledge in the field of termination of pregnancy.
