NICE mental health guideline published on adults in the criminal justice system

We are happy to announce the publication of the following mental health NICE guideline developed by the National Guideline Alliance (NGA).

Mental health of adults in contact with the criminal justice system is available from 21 March 2017 to view and use at the following link: https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ng66

This guideline covers assessing, diagnosing and managing mental health problems for adults (aged 18 and over) who are in contact with the criminal justice system. It aims to improve mental health and wellbeing in this population by establishing principles for assessment and management, improving staff training and promoting more coordinated care planning and service organisation across the criminal justice system.
