Consultation on NICE guideline on Heavy Menstrual Bleeding (update)

September 2017

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guideline on Heavy menstrual bleeding is being updated, and is open for consultation.

The guideline and associated documents are now available on the NICE website and stakeholder consultation on the draft guidance will close on Wednesday 13 September 2017.

New NICE guideline published on Endometriosis

September 2017

We are happy to announce the publication of the Endometriosis NICE guideline [NG73] developed by the National Guideline Alliance (NGA).

The overall aim of the guideline is to improve the diagnosis and management of endometriosis in community services, gynaecology services, and specialist endometriosis services (endometriosis centres). It includes women with confirmed or suspected endometriosis, including recurrent endometriosis, and also women who do not have symptoms but have endometriosis discovered incidentally.

The NGA has been commissioned by NICE to update the guideline on Multiple Pregnancy.

The public are invited to comment on the draft scope consultation, and to apply for a position on the guideline committee.

 

New NICE guideline published on Developmental follow-up of children and young people born preterm

August 2017

We are pleased to announce the publication of the following NICE guideline developed by the National Guideline Alliance (NGA).

"Developmental follow-up of children and young people born preterm" [NG72] guideline is now available on the NICE website.

Become a Committee member for the update of the NICE guideline on Colorectal Cancer and participate in scope consultation

The National Guideline Alliance (NGA) has been commissioned by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) to update the NICE guideline on Colorectal Cancer in Adults.

The public are invited to comment on the draft scope consultation and apply for a position on the guideline committee.

Consultation on the NICE guideline on Pancreatic Cancer in adults: diagnosis and management

July 2017

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guideline consultation on the diagnosis and management of pancreatic cancer in adults is now open.

The guideline and associated documents are now available on the NICE website and stakeholder consultation on the draft guidance will close on Monday 18 September 2017 at 5pm.

Customer feedback from Guideline Committees

One of the NGA's main customer groups are the members of our Guideline Committees.

We asked 270 Guideline Committee members across 17 committees how well they felt we are delivering our service to them.

The results were positive, encouraging, and useful for informing the our future work.
