An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) Coordinator in the Specialty Education and Training Department at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. This post is offered on a fixed term contract up to 12 months at 35 hours per week to cover maternity leave.

Key responsibilities

  • To process CESR applications, including drafting of required templates and scrutiny of documentation
  • To service the Equivalence Advisory Group
  • To service the Education Quality Assurance Committee (EQAC)

You will support the CESR process by drafting evaluations for the Equivalence Advisory Group meetings. You will be required to give guidance to CESR applicants. You will be comfortable liaising with clinicians and servicing Equivalence Advisory Group and EQAC meetings.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, proactive and forward-looking individual who has the ability to juggle competing priorities. You should be able to take initiative and work independently as well work as a member of the team. You will have proven experience of servicing committees and minute taking; a systematic approach to the management of complex processes; excellent attention to detail and excellent writing skills to communicate concisely and accurately. As the successful candidate will be servicing monthly Equivalence Advisory Group meetings you will need to be a quick learner.
