An opportunity has arisen for an eLearning Assistant Editor to join the Education Innovation team (part of Education and Assessment directorate) at the RCOG. This post is offered as a permanent, full-time appointment of 35 hours per week.
You will support the development of eLearning projects by liaising with clinical leads and authors, copy editing, proof-reading and uploading content to the eLearning platform. You will be required to contribute to the quality assurance processes for existing online resources, ensuring they are kept up-to-date and are maintained to a high quality. You will be comfortable liaising with clinicians and organising Editorial Board meetings.
As a successful candidate, you will have experience of proof reading and copyediting scientific or clinical documents, be customer focused and have experience of dealing with user enquiries. You will have excellent communication skills with an exceptional command of verbal and written English and experience of juggling a busy role with competing demands and deadlines. As the successful candidate will be joining the team at a busy period, you will need to be a quick learner and be willing to support the eLearning Managers and Head of Education Innovation, working independently as required.
