  • Full time (35hrs per week)
  • £33,256 – £39,900 salary plus benefits

The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and qualified Funding Manager for the new Centre for Women’s Global Health to lead on the funding needed to match our ambitious new programme of work.

The RCOG is a world leader in women’s reproductive health, setting standards for the clinical practice of obstetrics and gynaecology in the UK and across the world. One of our strategic objectives is to advocate for women’s health in the UK and globally. Our aim is that the same high standards will apply, wherever the College is involved.

The RCOG has established a new Centre for Women’s Global Health to help fulfil the College’s aim to improve women’s healthcare on a global stage. Our work is focused on our core activities of education & training in women’s health care, and our work in clinical quality.

This role supports the work of the CfWGH through developing and implementing a funding strategy, principally from Grants and Trusts and high net worth individuals, to meet our programme goals.  The postholder will help us to deliver outstanding supporter experience and long term growth for the Centre by working closely with the Director of Global Development to develop and maintain key donor relationships including taking on a number of individual relationships. The postholder will work closely with the Director to manage complex, high profile partnerships. They will develop proposals and reports alongside colleagues in the Centre and RCOG Fellows and Members.

This is an exciting time to join the RCOG as we develop and establish the Centre in cultivating existing and new relationships with donors and funders to encourage more funding for our global work.

The College is a membership organisation concerned with standards of training and education in the medical specialty of obstetrics and gynaecology. Located in pleasant offices overlooking Regent’s Park, the College offers an excellent and friendly working environment with a package that includes flexible working hours, free lunches, subsidised gym membership, season ticket loan, first class pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlement.
