An opportunity has arisen for a Membership Assistant within the External Affairs Directorate at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).

The main focus of this role is to support day to day membership operations, specifically to be responsible for membership verifications, processing and reporting on membership applications and renewals as well as ongoing data maintenance and customer service.

You will be responsible for processing membership applications, upgrades and renewals in line with department benchmarks. You will support member data capture and maintenance campaigns and prepare membership statistics reports, accurately reflecting growth of both new and renewed applicants by income and country of residence.

As a successful candidate, you enjoy providing excellent customer service, face to face as well as via email and telephone. You will have experience of data entry, maintenance and export for a membership association or similar. You will have exceptional organisational skills and possess the ability to prioritise, plan and pay careful attention to detail whilst working to deadlines. Having a sound knowledge of the Data Protection Act and compliance requirements for membership data is also essential. The successful candidate for this position will have a flexible approach to work and be a team player.
