Room naming opportunities

We can offer you the opportunity to name a room at the College's new building, in recognition of your contribution towards our Transforming Women’s Health fundraising campaign.

This will help future generations of women and girls across the world to receive the very best care, support and information about their health.

As a supporter of one of our rooms, you will receive:

  • A room named in your honour with a dedication plaque inside the room
  • Your name added to a gold tile on the RCOG Supporter Wall, in the Atrium of the College
  • The opportunity to attend the Official Opening Ceremony of the RCOG at Union Street
  • The opportunity to host a private event for up to 50 guests at the new building.

We are delighted to have already secured a number of generous gifts from our colleagues, partners and charitable foundations to be recognised in perpetuity at our new building, by having a room named in their honour. These include the Fellows and Members Lounge, the Reading and Quiet Room, the Café, Second Floor Learning Centre, and several learning rooms.

Rooms which are still available:

Suggested donation values range from £35,000 - £150,000

Our learning rooms within our vibrant new home at London Bridge will be used to support doctors throughout every stage of their career, helping us to deliver high quality education and training.

We have a number of rooms for sponsorship, ranging from small rooms to large multi-purpose spaces.

Our Meeting Hall: suggested donation value £500,000

Housed within an original 19th Century hop house and retaining original features including the exposed brickwork, the Meeting Hall is the grand meeting space within the College.

With a capacity of 300, it is the biggest space for learning, where world leaders in the profession will share best practice in education and training.

Sponsorship also includes the large break-out space outside the hall, which houses the iconic painting of Her Majesty the Queen opening the RCOG at Sussex Place in 1960.

Q&A with Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS)

In 2019, the RCOG launched the Transforming Women’s Health fundraising campaign to help raise vital funds for the College.

In support of this campaign, our Fellows and Members in Singapore generously donated over £100,000 to name our ground-floor meeting room, ‘The Singapore Room’.

We talked to Professor Ho Tew-Hong, previous President of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS), about why they’re supporting the RCOG.
