The new state-of-the-art RCOG digital studio was built to facilitate a step change in the College’s ability to deliver best in class digital training and events to its members, wherever they are in the world.

Improving the College’s digital capabilities was a key promise of RCOG President, Dr Edward Morris, at the start of his Presidency. The launch of this new 1000-square-foot studio is a key enabler for this ambition. It will allow the College to drive forward and deliver a programme of high quality virtual events and exceptional educational content for its global members for many years to come.

The significant success of the first ever RCOG Virtual World Congress in June 2021, which welcomed 3,100 global delegates, showcased the scale in which digital technology can be used to make the College’s educational content and events accessible to O&G professionals, wherever they are in the world.

The studio will be used to support the creation of high-quality sound and video recordings, on-demand viewings, and live transmissions to enable the College to stream high-quality clinical procedure demonstrations. There is also space and facilities to host panel discussions.

The studio space is also open for rental by the wider O&G community and RCOG partner organisations. For further details, please contact buildings@rcog.org.uk.
