Using digital technology to revolutionise services for our members
Digital transformation has been a key ambition of my presidency. Our primary goal for this programme is to make best use of digital technology to deliver first class services for our members, wherever they are in the world.
As we have learnt from the last two years, it’s not always easy to predict what might be coming around the corner. The College’s aim is to become more sustainable and more accessible for the global O&G community and to ensure the RCOG is able to provide a futureproofed service for many years to come.
As such, this exciting programme of digital transformation is under way across many key areas of the College’s work, to enable the College to become more resilient, accessible and influential, ensuring our research, educational and clinical products have benefit globally and drive up standards in women’s health.
State-of-the-art technology is being used to revolutionise how the College delivers essential services, such as exams, events and education to ROCG members, wherever they are in the world, to achieve the College’s mission of improving the health of women and girls.
Throughout this area of the website, we shine a spotlight on the many examples of transformative work achieved to date, those projects still under way, and the new digital innovation taking place right across the College that you will be able to feel the benefits of in the months ahead.
