A kite mark or tool such as an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard for organisations should be considered. The kite mark could demonstrate implementation of key interventions and strategies and reduction of the incidence of poor workplace behaviour through rigorous data collection and monitoring.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) recognises the importance of leadership in highly performing organisations with excellent quality of care. Their ‘well led’ domain could be broadened to include more focus on this issue.
