hank you for hosting an RCOG Basic Practical Skills (BPS) course. On this webpage, you will be able to access all the materials you need to organisde your BPS course.
All course materials are copyright of the RCOG and can only be used for the purpose of teaching the specified RCOG course.
How to set up your BPS course
The below needs to be done before the course date
As part of BPS course, delegates are required to complete e-learning tutorials and self-assessments before attending the course.
- Copy and paste this text into an email and send it to all your registered delegates 2-3 weeks before the event date
- Delegates must present a certificate of completion on arrival of the first day, as proof that they have successfully completed the tutorials and assessments in order to receive their certificates of attendance
- Any delegates who not present a certificate of completion for the tutorials and self-assessments will not be issued with a course certificate
E-book (BPS Manual)
Please note, that we no longer issue hard copies of the BPS manual. Delegates can now access an e-book with a code. Below is a template that you can use to merge the code(s), which will be sent to you once you have confirmed your final delegate numbers.
This form needs to be printed out, one copy per each delegate and giving to them on the day of the course for them to complete and keep it for their records (no need to send this back to the RCOG).
