Oral presentation

Each of the congress sessions has time set aside for oral presentations on a variety of areas in O&G. This is an ideal opportunity to gain experience of speaking at an international congress and expose your work to a wide audience.

Video presentation

In recent years videos have become an increasingly popular way of showcasing procedures and techniques. Video presentations are welcome in all categories and will be presented amongst the poster presentations. You will have the opportunity to make your video once your abstract is accepted so you won’t need to send it to us when you submit.

iPosters

The RCOG World Congress 2019 we will be introducing exciting new software to display posters, previously known as ePosters/electronic posters, they will now be referred to as iPosters (Interactive Posters). You will have the opportunity to design your iPoster online so there is no longer any need to print or transport your poster. You will be able to create an interactive, multimedia presentation that includes high resolution images, high definition videos, narrations, interviews, links to external sites, and more. You can add as much text and media content as you need to present your research with the detail it deserves; there are no limits.

With the new interactive design software you will have flexibility to design either an electronic poster or an interactive video within the system. Full instructions on iPoster submission will be emailed to successful authors and there will be a dedicated support team to assist with an iPoster submission queries should you have any.

iPosters presentations

Two new iPoster Mini Theatres will be located in the Exhibition Hall to give authors of the top scoring iPosters abstracts the opportunity to present your work and take questions from the audience. Selected authors will be contacted directly regarding these presentations.

Presentation slots will also be available to book onsite on dedicated screens to allow authors the opportunity to present your iPoster to colleagues and other Congress attendees. These slots are only available to book onsite from Monday 17 June. Slots are available on a first come, first served basis. It is not possible to reserve a slot in advance of Congress.

Large HD touch screens will be available in the iPoster area in the exhibition area for attendees to view any iPoster on demand. There will also be screens set up for presenters to photograph your iPoster if you wish. There will also be a bank of dedicated iPoster laptops for attendees to browse the iPosters.

All of the iPosters will appear on a special iPoster website for a year after the Congress. This will enable your iPoster to be available to anyone outside of the Congress.
