This is a hands-on workshop where delegates get direct practical teaching on how to perform both basic obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound scanning on a combination of state-of-the-art equipment including; modern ultrasound machines, obstetric ultrasound simulators and gynaecological ultrasound simulators.
On completion of this workshop delegates will be familiar with the operation of a modern ultrasound scanning machine and will be taught the systematic approach to ultrasound scanning used in obstetrics and gynaecology and will appreciate the process of ultrasound scanning orientation, image optimisation and diagnostic image acquisition.
As well as learning how to perform an ultrasound scan delegates will also have the opportunity to talk to experts about the capabilities of the state-of-the-art machinery used in the workshop.

09.15 - 10.45 Obstetric and Gynaecological practical streams take place simultaneously
10.45 - 11.00 15-minute coffee break
11.15 - 12.45 Groups swap over & participate in alternative stream
12.45 - 13.00 Short debrief session with Q&A.
