Fraudulent and unauthorised websites are offering RCOG World Congress accommodation and online registrations to delegates and exhibitors.

Online registration for RCOG Congress is only ever provided through this official RCOG website.

Please also be vigilant and book accommodation either via this website, or directly with a hotel or a reputable hotel booking site.

Registration Categories

Different fees apply according to your career stage.

Full: Consultants, Specialists, GPs, SAS Doctors

Trainees: Specialist Trainees, House Officers, Medical Officers, Foundation Year Doctors, PhD Students, Clinical Fellows. To qualify for the Trainee’s rate, you must send documentary proof that you are a trainee at a recognised educational institution and this must accompany your registration form. For UK based trainees, please submit a copy of your National Training Number (NTN) as proof of trainee status.

Midwives and Allied Healthcare Professionals: midwives, nurses, sonographers

*Low Resource Countries: anyone practising in Band B and Band C countries listed here is eligible for the Low Resource Countries delegate rate. You are not eligible if you are originally from one of these countries but now practising elsewhere.

Medical Student: anyone who is studying for an undergraduate medical degree. Your registration must be accompanied by a letter from your head of department or supervisor confirming your eligibility


What is included in the registration?

Congress full registration includes:

  • Access to all scientific sessions and exhibition hall for all three days at the 2019 RCOG World Congress
  • Access to exhibition and poster area
  • Lunch and refreshments
  • Access to Congress materials including Congress app
  • Entry to the Welcome Reception, Sunday 16 June 2019
  • Entry to the Opening Ceremony and Drinks Reception, Monday 17 June 2019.
  • Claim a maximum of 20 CPD credits for full attendance

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation of Registrations

All cancellations must be received in writing by the Congress Secretariat ( It is the responsibility of the delegate to ensure that the Congress Secretariat has received the written cancellation.

On or before 6 May 2019 – Full refund minus, £50 administration fee

After 6 May 2019 – We regret that no refund can be made after this time, although name substitutions can be made at any time up to the day prior to the event (Saturday 15 June 2019)

No refunds will be given for non-attendance.

In the unlikely event the Congress is cancelled by the RCOG, we regret we are unable to refund any delegate travel and/or accommodation costs that have already been incurred by the delegate, or any administration charges relating to cancellation of travel tickets or accommodation.


Visa Information 

If you're from a country outside the European Union, you may be required to have a valid visa to enter Britain. Please check your visa requirements before you book a place at the Congress and before you travel. We're unable to refund Congress fees outside of our cancellation deadline in the event that your visa is denied or not received in time for you to travel. More information on visa requirements is available from the UK Border Agency


Letter of Invitation for Visas

Delegates who require a letter of invitation to attend the Congress should write to the Congress Secretariat. Please note that a letter of invitation should not be considered as an official invitation covering fees and other expenses. Letters of invitation will only be issued upon receipt of a registration form and full payment.

Letters of invitation can ONLY be issued to delegates attending the Scientific Congress; not accompanying persons.
