Mandatory meetings

You must attend at least one of the mandatory meetings listed on this page in each 5-year CPD cycle. Your choice of mandatory meeting should be based on your area of specialisation.

In exceptional circumstances, if these meetings don’t meet your needs because they don’t fit into your clinical practice profile, you may attend an alternative meeting. You’ll need to consult the RCOG by emailing the CPD Office or by calling +44 20 7772 6307.

We strongly recommend that you attend more than one national/international meeting organised by the RCOG and/or relevant specialist societies.
