Joint RCOG/AEPU Meeting


Early Pregnancy Unit and Gynaecology Emergency activity is now a core session for many consultants and trainees. However, there is no specific meeting support for dissemination and discussion of principles of evidence-based practice. This course will update consultants and trainees on recent developments in clinical practice of early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology management.

  • Primary care physicians and support staff

  • SAS Doctors 

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Manage common early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology problems confidently
  • Target investigations according to each clinical scenario
  • Organise care for women with early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology problems
  • Identify and fully comprehend key research in the field of early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology
  • Complete the theoretical component if the Acute Gynaecology and Early Pregnancy ATSM
  • Claim a maximum of 12 CPD credits for full attendance at this meeting
