This exam is only open to applicants who have had their training approved and accepted in advance. If you have not yet had your training assessed, please request an Assessment of Training form or speak to the exams department about your application.

You will be able to apply online, paying by credit or debit card, by signing into the website and completing the form below. The exam form is only visible once signed into the website.

If you have not yet registered on the website, please contact the RCOG online team with your 6-digit RCOG number and you will be sent log-in instructions. If you can’t remember your RCOG number, please provide your full name and address.

Postal applications

If you wish to apply by postal application, accompanied by a bank draft, please email exams@rcog.org.uk quoting your six-digit College registration number.

Online applications will close at 4pm (UK time) Thursday 12 October 2017.

Regulations

By continuing with the booking process, you agree to all the terms of the Part 2 MRCOG exam regulations and to the transfer of all copyright subsisting in exam material produced by you to the College.

You confirm that you are not currently suspended or removed from medical practice by any authorising body or involved in any disciplinary proceedings related to medical practice in any country. Candidates are advised to read the College’s new regulations regarding exam currency and attempts.

I note that no amendment can be made to the exam centre after the closing date.

If you withdraw your application after the closing date you shall forfeit the exam fee.

Changing your name

If your name has changed you need to provide a re-issued primary medical degree certificate or medical registration certificate stating your new/married name (attested copies only), as well as a copy of your marriage certificate showing both your former and your new name. This documentation must be received by the closing date.

Privacy statement

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, the College will process personal data, by any means (including electronically), for the purpose of providing benefits and services and to carry out its day to day business. If you are registered or anticipate being registered with the GMC, then your personal data, including data about your exam results, will be passed to the GMC for quality assurance and for research purposes and to facilitate the awarding of certificates of completion of training (CCTs).

The College may also confirm your qualifications and membership to bona fide third parties including governmental and medical regulatory bodies, educational institutions, and prospective employers, including those in countries where individual rights are not protected by data protection law. No further information will be released without your prior consent. From time to time, with your permission, the College may release names and address details of its members to interested third parties for marketing and survey purposes. All organisations and persons are carefully vetted by the College before this information is released. Any such data comprising sensitive details (including data relating to age, health or ethnicity) will not be disclosed without prior consent from you.
