The closing date for applications for the Part 3 MRCOG November 2017 examination has now passed.

If you have applied for this exam, please note that it is no longer possible to amend your application, nor may you withdraw, postpone or change your examination centre.


The Part 3 MRCOG examination is only open to applicants who have passed the Part 2 MRCOG. Please check our website for Part 3 MRCOG exam regulations.

All candidates:

Please login to the website to apply online. You can pay by credit or debit card. Please take care not to create a new account as you will not have the permissions to apply for the exam under a new account. If you have forgotten your password, please reset it. If you encounter any problems applying online please contact us at in advance of the closing date.

Please note whilst every effort is made to accommodate each candidate with their first choice venue, we reserve the right to allocate candidates to another centre. If, for any reason, a preferred centre does not run or is oversubscribed, candidates will be allocated to another centre.

Important note: Candidates who apply to sit in the Hong Kong Centre are subject to pay a local administrative fee of $15000 Hong Kong dollars. Once your place has been allocated, you will be emailed further details of how to pay this fee. You pay this directly to the HKCOG.

(For candidates who are sitting the Joint M.Med (O&G)/Part 3 MRCOG Clinical Assessment, the administrative fee will be levied by the Division of Graduate Medical Studies, National University of Singapore).

Your entrance ticket confirming the date and exam session (morning or afternoon) will be emailed to you shortly after the application deadline.Please ensure that the entrance ticket is checked thoroughly. Any required corrections must be sent to as soon as possible.The entrance ticket must be presented to the invigilator at your exam hall, along with your photographic identification.Unfortunately due to the limited spaces, we will not be able to change your allocated exam session.

The closing date for applications for the Part 3 MRCOG May 2017 Examination is at 4.00pm (GMT) on the 5 October 2017. No amendments can be made to your application, nor may you withdraw, postpone or change your examination centre after this date.

By continuing with the booking process, you agree to all the terms of the Part 3 MRCOG examination regulations and to the transfer of all copyright subsisting in examination material produced by you to the College. You confirm that you are not currently suspended or removed from medical practice by any authorising body or involved in any disciplinary proceedings related to medical practice in any country. Candidates are advised to read the College’s new regulations regarding examination currency and attempts. If you withdraw your application after the closing date you shall forfeit the examination fee.

If you are registered or anticipate being registered with the GMC, then your personal data, including data about your examination results, will be passed to the GMC for quality assurance and for research purposes and to facilitate the awarding of certificates of completion of training (CCTs). The College may also confirm your qualifications and membership to bona fide third parties including governmental and medical regulatory bodies, educational institutions, and prospective employers, including those in countries where individual rights are not protected by data protection law. No further information will be released without your prior consent. From time to time, with your permission, the College may release names and address details of its members to interested third parties for marketing and survey purposes. All organisations and persons are carefully vetted by the College before this information is released.
