Deadline

Applications will close on Thursday 18 October 2018 at 4pm (UK time).

The regulations state that candidates who withdraw their application for a particular exam after the closing date, or who fail to appear, shall forfeit the exam fee. This means the College can’t refund your entry fee after an exam’s closing date and your candidature for the exam will remain. If you fail to attend the exam, your entry will not be counted as an attempt.

Please read the information for all candidates and the privacy statement before completing the form below.

By continuing with the booking process, you agree to all the terms of the exam regulations for this particular exam and to the transfer of all copyright subsisting in exam material produced by you to the College. You confirm that you are not currently suspended or removed from medical practice by any authorising body or involved in any disciplinary proceedings related to medical practice in any country.

Candidates are advised to read the College’s regulations regarding exam currency and attempts.

Reasonable adjustments for exam candidates

Candidates for any RCOG examination who wish to request an adjustment to the examination setting should please first read the Supporting Special Circumstances Policy and submit their request to ExamConfidentialEnquiries@rcog.org.uk

Your request must be submitted before the published closing date for the exam you are applying for. Requests submitted after the published closing date will normally not be considered.

You must make a new request with each examination application.

Name change

If your name has changed you need to provide an attested re-issued primary medical degree certificate or certificate of medical registration stating your new/married name, as well as a copy of your marriage certificate showing both your former and your new name. These documents must be sent to the exams department at exams@rcog.org.uk and received by the closing date.

In accordance with EU and UK data protection laws, the College will process personal data, by any means (including electronically), for the purpose of providing benefits and services and to carry out its day to day business.

If you are registered or anticipate being registered with the GMC, then your personal data, including data about your examination results, will be passed to the GMC for quality assurance and for research purposes and to facilitate the awarding of certificates of completion of training (CCTs). The College may also confirm your qualifications and membership to bona fide third parties including governmental and medical regulatory bodies, educational institutions, and prospective employers, including those in countries where individual rights are not protected by data protection law. No further information will be released without your prior consent.
