Part 2 Revision Course:  20 – 21 April 2018


This revision course is aimed at candidates preparing for the next Part 2 MRCOG exam. It focuses on polishing your exam techniques to improve your chances of passing the written papers. Developed and taught by experienced MRCOG Examiners, this course reflect the new format and standards of the Part 2 MRCOG written exam from September 2016. You will hear about the exam question formats and will have ample opportunity to practice Single Best Answer Questions (SBAs) and Extended Matching Questions (EMQs). This course will map the RCOG core curriculum and the examination syllabus, and you will also have lectures from experts about current developments and hot topics in key curriculum areas.

We recommend you book early to avoid disappointment. There are a maximum of 40 places.

This is a unique lecture course with videos of structured discussions and simulated patient tasks that will enable delegates to understand the principles that underpin the MRCOG Part 3 Clinical Skills Assessment oral examination.

  • to describe the structure and format of the MRCOG Part 3 examination
  • to reproduce the components parts of the blueprint matrix of the MRCOG Part 3 examination
  • to describe the basic structure of the examiner marking system
  • to relate the five clinical skills domains to clinical situations from the 14 modules of the Part 3 syllabus at an ST5 level of trainee competence
  • to discern and analyse the differences between task pass and fail performances
