BSGE “Ambulatory Care Network” Meeting

Start: 27/02/2020 12:00
End: 28/02/2020 12:00

Location: Birmingham

It is with great pleasure that we can invite BSGE members and indeed all practitioners interested in ambulatory gynaecology to our second meeting dedicated to managing women’s health conditions in an outpatient setting.

The feedback from our inaugural meeting in March this year was fantastic. Minutes including outputs from the last meeting can be downloaded here.

As before, this meeting is designed to be highly interactive with short presentations introducing key themes and controversies in specific sessions. The idea is to allow time for wider discussion so we can share our thoughts, protocols and experiences. The meeting is supported by industry and so there will be the opportunity to learn about some of the latest technologies.

In contrast to last year, I would like the programme to be driven by those attending so I would be grateful if you could email Atia at bsge@rcog.org.uk with any ideas – fully formed or just ‘back of the envelope’ stuff. We can then collate the responses into themes and allocate the appropriate amount of time to covering these themes.

The meeting will be held over 2 days starting on Thursday lunchtime (12.00 pm lunch, meeting to start at 1 pm) and close on Friday lunchtime. This will allow time for travel down and then back home so you can enjoy your weekend in full. Refreshments will be provided throughout and there is an inclusive evening meal where there will be the opportunity to network with colleagues with similar interests and with our industry supporters.

You can register via BSGE website https://www.bsge.org.uk/product/bsge-ambulatory-care-network-acn-meeting-2020/

We hope you will consider attending this new meeting and making it an ongoing success in this increasingly important area of health service delivery.
