All applicants shortlisted under the RCOG Medical Training Initiative (MTI) Scheme 2020 are warmly invited to participate in this free interactive induction day.
Adapting to UK practice can be difficult for any doctor, regardless of where you are from or how experienced you are, and COVID will bring its own additional challenges.
This induction day will update and signpost MTI’s to practical guidance, resources and support, as well as the opportunity to connect virtually with your peers. The morning session will focus on training during COVID-19 and will include an open Q&A session.
This will be followed by afternoon communication skills workshops, where MTI’s will be split into small groups and have the opportunity to tackle challenging situations you may face in practice and receive real time constructive feedback.
Please note this induction day is only open to shortlisted applicants in the RCOG MTI Scheme 2020 round.
What to expect on the day
This induction will be delivered online. You will be able to join whether you are in the UK or are overseas but you must register in advance.
You will receive information on how to access the induction and learning resources after you've booked your place
Please note, this course will be delivered through an online collaborative platform which creates a guest profile for all participants. As part of this profile, the name and email address of the participant will be visible to all participants within the secure course classroom. This is a requirement of use of this platform so permission to share this information will be gathered during the registration process.
