Addressing race inequalities in women’s health, and tackling racism and bias within O&G are key priorities for the RCOG.
Informed by our 2020 International Women’s Day event, ‘We Need to Talk About Race’, and work led by the RCOG Women’s Network, the RCOG’s Race Equality Taskforce was launched in October 2020. The group brings together a wide range of stakeholders, with representatives from our Fellows, Members and Trainees, as well as input from the UK governments, NHS England and Improvement, deaneries, other medical colleges, and grassroots representatives, to guide our work in this area.
Join Edward Morris, RCOG President, and colleagues working on these issues for a webinar to discuss the role of the Race Equality Taskforce, what the RCOG is doing to support our membership, and new research into inequalities in women’s health outcomes.
- Learn about the RCOG’s work to improve the curriculum, address differential attainment and support our membership throughout their careers
- Gain insight into new developments in the RCOG’s work to address racial disparities in women’s health experiences and outcomes
- Learn and share how inequities in outcome and experience can be addressed in practice
Please note: this webinar is free to attend and is exclusive for RCOG Fellows, Members, Trainees and Associates
