Joint RCOG/BSUG meeting

Overview

This one day meeting aims to update delegates on contemporary clinical issues and controversies in the prevention, diagnosis and management of childbirth associated pelvic floor and perineal trauma.  The programme covers theoretical and practical elements of commonly encountered clinical problems, with a focus on applications in clinical practice.

  • All Trainees and Consultants in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Urogynaecoology and Colorectal Surgery
  • All Midwives and midwifery students
  • Nurses and Physiotherapists with an interest in this field
  • Staff Grades, Specialty Doctors, Trust Doctors and Associate Specialists

  • Have knowledge of the latest developments in childbirth trauma
  • Have a deeper understanding of multidisciplinary management of pelvic floor and perineal related morbidity
  • Have an appreciation of the wider issues related to childbirth trauma encountered in clinical practice
