This one-day event for Clinical Directors, Senior Trainees and Consultants explores the new and ongoing challenges for medical leaders across the NHS. It is an opportunity to share experiences with your peers, hear from leading clinical figures, and engage in an open Q&A with the President and Vice President team in our 'Meet the RCOG Officers' session.
The forum will focus on the question "What is the role of a Clinical Director in leading the drive for safer care?" covering topics including job planning, workplace behaviours, medico-legal issues and how to encourage positive behaviours to influence safety culture in the workplace and shape an environment that drives staff to deliver better care. Attendees will be invited to participate in lively debates, interactive workshops and Q&A sessions that will better prepare you for the challenges of medical leadership.
This forum is a must-attend event for recently appointed Clinical Directors, experienced Clinical Leaders, Senior Trainees and Consultants who are seeking to refine their leadership skills and develop knowledge on encouraging a culture in which delivering better health care is paramount.
Attendees are also provided with the opportunity to feedback to the College on the impact of national policy on clinical leadership and front line service delivery and therefore help shape the College's agenda for the year ahead. Don’t miss your chance to address the issues and discuss potential solutions.
